Join the Refugee & Migrant Scholars Network
Are you a refugee or migrant interested in education, research, leadership, community work, technology, health, business, law, media, or other fields?Refugees & Migrants in Our Common Home is launching a new global network that brings together refugee and migrant scholars from different countries and backgrounds.
This is a chance to connect with other scholars, share ideas, learn from others, and help build a network shaped by people with lived experience of displacement and migration.
Participants in the first design group will help decide the network’s priorities, activities, and future direction. This network may also open doors to collaborations, mentorship, research opportunities, learning opportunities, and professional connections.
You are encouraged to share your interests, experience, and the areas you care about most.

CHAP Officially Launched in Nakivale.
On Thursday, 7 May 2026, the China Emergency Humanitarian Assistance Project (CHAP) was officially launched in Nakivale.
The project will support newly arrived refugees in Nakivale and Kyangwali with food assistance at reception centres, psychosocial support, and menstrual hygiene support for vulnerable groups from 2026 to 2027.
Many partners, leaders, and community representatives attended the launch to strengthen support for refugees and host communities.
